Our tutors undergo a rigorous screening process, including evaluations, interviews, and competency-based recommendations to ensure they have the necessary qualifications, expertise, and experience in their respective fields.
We carefully assess each student's learning requirements, academic goals, upcoming examinations, and preferred learning style to match them with a suitable tutor who possesses the relevant expertise and teaching approach to best meet their needs.
We have an ongoing feedback relationship with the parents/guardians of the learners. This helps us to track improvements, challenges, upcoming assessments, need for re-design of teaching method etc. The openness of an ongoing open communication makes it easy to stay on track to consolidate improvements and correct challenges, enabling parents or guardians to stay informed about their child's academic development and address any concerns or inquiries.
We offer tutoring services for a wide range of subjects, including Mathematics, Add/Further Mathematics, English, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, Government, History, Geography, Information Communication Technology (ICT), Languages, and more, catering to students from Reception (Age 4) to A-Levels/6th Form (Age 18).

Both sides cover their data costs. The client covers his/her cost and the tutor covers his/her cost. Every class-related expense is factored into the payment made to the tutors at the end of each tutoring cycle (usually the end of the month).
The tutor should notify Edukom Admin immediately. They will then be advised to discuss with the parent to arrange an alternate time to reschedule that class to hold. The tutor must be willing to be flexible and accommodate the proposed new time provided by the client to make up the cancelled class within that same payment cycle. The newly arranged class time must be communicated to Edukom Admin as soon as possible.

If life gets busier, family responsibilities, longer work hours etc. makes it impossible to continue as a Tutor, Edukom will expect the Tutor to kindly finish up that month for the sake of continuity of learning for the student’s sake. It is important for there not to be Tutor changes in the middle of concepts or specific topics being taught.
One tutor, one student per class. One of the goals of Edukom is to attend to the learning needs of each child, covering their specific gaps and learning at their own pace. This cannot take place if the Tutor’s attention is divided by the presence of more than one child.
Tutors are paid per hour for tutoring. At the end of each month, the total sum they have earned for all hours taught are paid by bank transfer to their accounts. Verification that all classes were taught for the entire contracted duration must take place before payment is made.
There is no maximum as long as the content and quality of teaching does not diminish and the classes do not clash, Tutors may be assigned as my hours as they can conveniently take within their skillset and experience level.
Nothing. The classes are taught online so you can still conduct your classes from wherever you are in the world.
While discussing with the parent to find a suitable time at your location and theirs to have productive teaching and learning hours, weekends are recommended. Due to the flexibility of time and lack of fixed working hours, it is easier to handle lessons across extreme time differences on weekends and school holidays.
