Currently at Edukom we use Zoom, Google Meet, Google classroom etc. pending when we finish creation of our online portal. Until then, all tutors are required to be highly conversant in the above listed virtual learning platforms. Classes are expected to be interactive and engaging for all learners.

Both sides cover their data costs. The client covers his/her cost and the tutor covers his/her cost. Every class-related expense is factored into the payment made to the tutors at the end of each tutoring cycle (usually the end of the month).
-
The tutor should notify Edukom Admin immediately. They will then be advised to discuss with the parent to arrange an alternate time to reschedule that class to hold. The tutor must be willing to be flexible and accommodate the proposed new time provided by the client to make up the cancelled class within that same payment cycle. The newly arranged class time must be communicated to Edukom Admin as soon as possible.

If life gets busier, family responsibilities, longer work hours etc. makes it impossible to continue as a Tutor, Edukom will expect the Tutor to kindly finish up that month for the sake of continuity of learning for the student’s sake. It is important for there not to be Tutor changes in the middle of concepts or specific topics being taught.
-
One tutor, one student per class. One of the goals of Edukom is to attend to the learning needs of each child, covering their specific gaps and learning at their own pace. This cannot take place if the Tutor’s attention is divided by the presence of more than one child.

Tutors are paid per hour for tutoring. At the end of each month, the total sum they have earned for all hours taught are paid by bank transfer to their accounts. Verification that all classes were taught for the entire contracted duration must take place before payment is made.
